The
recent 5.8 magnitude earthquake on the east coast of the United
States should make you wonder about your insurance policies and
whether you have insurance coverage for an earthquake if one were to
strike here. The Lowcountry does lie on a fault line and the
September 1886 earthquake that hit the Charleston area caused
extensive damage. It was the most damaging earthquake to occur in
the Southeast United States and one of the largest historic shocks
in Eastern North America being a 7.3 magnitude quake. Please click

should discuss this with your insurance agent.
