Did you know that more boating accidents occur on the Fourth of July holiday that at any other time?

July 5th leads the way followed by July 4 and then July 6.

The waterways are congested with high speed boats and inexperienced operators.

Add in the alcohol factor along with the hot sun and one has all the ingredients for a disaster.

Make sure you know all boating rules and have the proper equipment on board your boat.

And double check your insurance policy to see that you have proper insurance that will cover damages to your boat and provide liability protection to others in you bare involved in a boating accident.

Boats do break down and you would be wise to have the Emergency Towing and Labor coverage on your insurance policy. Calling for a commercial tow is an expensive item!

Consider adding Uninsured Boaters coverage to your policy. Many folks on the water do not have liability coverage or perhaps have liability insurance with very low limits.

Check with your Trusted Choice Independent Insurance Agent before you venture onto the water!
