Terence Jenkins  –  Account Executive

I was born in Columbia, SC in 1971.  Both of my parent’s families were originally from Summerville, SC, but my father worked in international sales for Mead Westvaco and thus our family moved several times during my childhood.  We spent 5 years in Australia during my early years, but I spent the majority of my childhood on Isle of Palms.  I graduated from College of Charleston with a Bachelors Degree in 1995.

After college, I began working for Prudential Carolina Real Estate, selling residential real estate.  In 1999, I left Prudential and worked for a new Commercial Real Estate Firm, Anchor Commercial Real Estate, and remained working as a sales and leasing agent until 2004 when I came to C. T. Lowndes & Company.

I have worked as an outside sales Agent for C. T. Lowndes & Company since 2004. I made the move from real estate sales to commercial Insurance as I felt that my contacts and knowledge of the commercial real estate industry would provide a good transition to insurance. Working with C. T. Lowndes & Company provides me with an opportunity to work with  a well-established agency, with deep roots in the low country, and that fits my background and connection with the tri-county area very nicely.  I specialize in both Personal and Commercial Insurance, and try to make friends out of all of my clients.  Building relationships and friendships is a key to my business.  I try to not only provide solid Insurance advise to all of my clients, but where applicable, also reciprocate and do what I can to help them grow their business as well.  Insurance is how  most people protect their most important assets, so my goal is to show folks how to protect those assets in the most efficient and effective way possible, while building a lasting friendship in the process.
