The Guaranty Insurance Agency...    

     The Guaranty Insurance Agency in Sumter has been in business since 1957, having been established by R. J. Palmer. Joseph C. Givens, Sr. started working at the agency in 1959 and purchased the business in 1976. Guaranty Insurance Agency now has a working relationship with C. T. Lowndes & Company and can once again provide the entire realm of insurance products at competitive prices.

Mr. Givens was born in Sumter in 1923 and is a 1947 graduate of Morris College with a degree in Natural Science. He is married to Elizabeth who is a part time judge and part time life insurance salesperson.

Irma Haithcock is the Customer Service Representative for the agency and has been employed since 2001. Originally from Texas, she now resides in Sumter.
