CTL has made a donation of $500 to the Friends of Colleton County Animal Shelter. The mission of this organization is to help save, rescue, and adopt homeless animals in Colleton County.
In thanking us for our donation, volunteer and Board Member Audra Hudson stated “Thank you so much for your generous sponsorship for the upcoming FoCCAS fundraiser, PAWS at the Plantation. Our nonprofit organization assists and supports our county animal shelter in many ways including spay/ neuter, heartworm and flea medications, microchips, ER visits, animal transport, fostering , education, TNR for feral cats ( trap, neuter, return) and the list goes on. … We could NOT continue our life saving work without community support and we can’t thank you enough in joining us in saving the lives of the homeless animals in Colleton County. On just a side note, in 2009 when FOCCAS was founded, our live release rate at our shelter was 11%! Now in 2021, our live release rate is 88%! We are extremely proud of what this organization has accomplished in the past 11 years but we still have a ways to go.”
