Has your small business  been a victim of a cyber attack?

A recent study indicated over 50% of small businesses have been victims of a hacking attack.

Do you think an annual subscription to McAfee, Symantec, or Norton will protect you?

Do you think hacking won’t happen to you?

Do you think that, if you are hacked, the costs to your business will be minimal?

If your data is in the cloud, do you think your cloud provider will take care of any losses?

Believing in these four fallacies may cause your business to incur a major financial loss!

I know that at our small business, C. T. Lowndes & Company, the hackers are relentless in their efforts to infiltrate our system. Even though we have an in-house IT staff, there is no question in my mind that the agency will be hacked. It is just a matter of when!!  Thus, we do have a cyber liability policy. The cost is about a thousand dollars annually.

Every business that stores customer information needs a cyber liability insurance policy.

You should definitely call an independent insurance agency and at least obtain a quote for this insurance.
