It really did snow in Charleston, South Carolina on January 3! About 5 to 6 inches worth! Live Oak trees and Spanish moss and snow – that is an odd combination for sure!
Absolutely amazing and such a beautiful sight to see – at least for the first day or so!
Then came the ice due to six days of nighttime temps in the low 20s, or lower. And then the mess when the melt starts.
Once every 10 years or so is enough for me! I will take the warm winters of the Low Country all day long!
